Spiffing Review will return!

January 27, 2010

Apologies for our recent silence. We will be back this weekend with a slightly late (some things never change) review of a film called Avatar, which you might have already heard about, and our 2009 round-up. After that we have lots of exciting ideas which we’ll blatter you with towards the end of February.

Thanks for your patience!

Thanks to everyone that’s listened so far!

July 28, 2009

We’d like to thank everyone that’s taken the time to download and listen to episode 1 of It’s A Wrap so far. Feedback has been good, thanks for your tips and constructive criticism! However, we want MORE, because we’re greedy little sods, so if you’ve listened to the podcast please do let us know what you think.

To make it as easy for you as possible, we’ve embraced science fiction technology, which means you can get in touch with us in three ways:

1. Leave a comment on this blog. Go on, just click the ‘comment’ link below. You know you want to.

2. Email us at simonandwayne@spiffingreview.com – it’s worth pointing out that we had a slight glitch earlier in the week, so if you’ve emailed us and we haven’t got back to you please do send your email again. We do reply to all emails (except for ones about Nigerian princes or penis enlargement – and especially not the emails that combine the two).

3. Follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/spiffingreview

We should have a special bonus going up at the end of the week: our test pilot episode, recorded before episode 1. Keep an eye on your RSS feed or iTunes sub for Episode 0: Drag Me To Hell, coming soon!

Podcast coming soon!

July 9, 2009

Ah, ‘coming soon’. Never has a phrase been so regularly misused.

Nonetheless, we’re fully intending to launch the It’s A Wrap podcast in the next couple of weeks, to coincide with (read: take advantage of) the release of the new Harry Potter. We’ll have a precise launch date to bandy about in an over-confident manner soon. The first episode will feature reviews of new and ‘classic’ films plus an irreverant analysis of the latest movie news, brought to you by the hopefully entertaining duo of Simon and Wayne.

Coming soon!
